Executive Summary
This document is a compilation of many documents compiled over the last year which together show that there are several misconceptions at the heart of UK’s energy policy. These are undermining the objective of the Climate Change Act 2008, which is to cut UK’s carbon emissions by 80% by 2050. The purpose of this document is to draw ministers’ attention to these, so they can be removed, enabling the targets to be met.
